Making Talmud Study Accessible for All- Jewish Women's Foundation of New York

JWFNY Crown Jewel.png

As the High Holidays are upon us, Rabbi Benay Lappe, Founder and Rosh Yeshiva of SVARA, will share with us how she’s been observing the holidays in a social distant space and through a queer lens.

Benay works to make serious Talmud study accessible to Jews of all backgrounds and identities to encourage critical thinking, compassion, and moral courage. Through its commitment radical inclusivity, SVARA creates changemakers and innovators in the Jewish world, as well as in secular spaces. Join us on Thursday, October 1st at 4PM to hear how Benay opens up Talmud study to those who have traditionally excluded from the tradition.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
